Eligibility checklist

  • Lower Primary: HS with 50% marks and a 2-year D.El.Ed (or as notified).
  • Upper Primary: graduation with B.Ed or D.El.Ed (or as notified).
  • Language-medium and relaxation rules are set in each notice.
  • TET is an eligibility test; recruitment happens separately.

Pace and marking

  • Time budget. 150 min ÷ 150 = 60 s per question.
  • When to attempt. No negative marking: answer every question. Use any time left to re-check pedagogy questions, which are often worded subtly.
  • The arithmetic. With no negative marking, a blind guess averages +0.25 marks and costs nothing. Never leave a bubble blank.

Tips from জয়যাত্ৰা

  • Child Development and Pedagogy decides results. Its questions are often worded subtly; read every option before choosing.
  • No negative marking: answer every question. A blind guess averages +0.25 marks and costs nothing.
  • Aim for safety above 60% (90 of 150). Practise until your mock scores sit comfortably above it.
  • Use left-over time to re-check pedagogy questions, not content questions.
  • The TET mini mock in joyjatra Go uses Paper I’s pace (60 seconds) and marking.
