Two students writing an exam at a classroom desk

Step 2 · Evaluate: find your true baseline

A ten-question diagnostic tells you more than a month of guessing. How to take it, how to read it, and what to do next.

Your baseline is not a judgement. It is a map. Without it, you will spend most of your time on topics you already know, because those feel good, and avoid the ones that cost you marks.

How to take the baseline properly

  1. Sit somewhere quiet with ten uninterrupted minutes.
  2. Answer honestly. If you would guess in the real exam, guess; if you would skip, skip. A flattering score is useless.
  3. Use Rule out when you can eliminate an option. It shows how much a guess is worth under your exam’s marking.
  4. Read every explanation, including the ones you got right. A lucky right answer is still a gap.
  5. Save any fact you want to keep as a recall card with one tap.

Reading your result

The result screen shows your score out of ten, a subject-by-subject breakdown and your weakest subject today. Wrong and skipped answers go straight to your mistake notebook.

ScoreWhat it usually meansWhat to do

Keep evaluating

  • The daily quiz is a fresh ten-question check every day, matched to your class level.
  • Each bank section shows your progress; aim for 75% before moving on.
  • Every mock ends with a section-by-section review and the cost of negative marking.
